Who we are?
Cornell Center Animal Hospital is your local veterinary hospital partnering with you caring for your pet. Our doctors all have years of experience in small animal medicine. Dr. Greg Stanchfield, the owner, and Dr. Emily Beck also have had years of experience in emergency medicine. Each of our veterinary technicians are certified and licensed to provide great care for your animal. We have been awarded by the American Animal Hospital Association the past 12 years for our compassionate veterinary services. We emphasize the importance of continuing education and family-feel medical care.
What we do?
We have high benchmarks of excellence in quality, progressive, compassionate animal care and business practice standards. Since we are a hospital and frequently perform surgeries during the day, we generally work by appointment only. We are typically able to offer same day appointments at your convenience. We’re here to meet your needs!
Why we do it?
To put it simply, we love helping you help your pet! We understand the importance of the human-animal bond. Our goal is to reinforce this bond in a pleasant, professional environment that is rewarding for patient, client, and hospital staff. It is our intention to provide compassionate, high quality veterinary services to ensure the health and safety of each pet in our care. We have sworn an oath to alleviate animal suffering and maximize the bond between man and his four-legged friend.
How did we get started?
Dr. Stanchfield created Cornell Center Animal Hospital in 1996 with the desire to bring high quality, family-feel care to the people and their pets in North West Oregon. He knows how important the human-animal bond is to the place he has lived for the past 20 years. His desire is for CCAH to be more than just another veterinary clinic. Dr. Stanchfield wanted a veterinary hospital with a pleasant, professional environment that is rewarding for patients, clients and the hospital staff. In later years he was joined by Dr. Emily Beck and Dr. Deb Sheaffer. Both enhance CCAH by bringing years of experience and dedication to healing the human-animal relationship. Dr. Stanchfield never wants to retire from CCAH -the place where he can give compassionate care to his client’s animals and swap stories the latest sports game or the family’s favorite nature hikes.
