Why we do it?:
Traditional bed sharing between parents and newborns imposes great dangers upon babies, as incidental harm and fatalities may occur as a result of suffocation and other types of unintentional harm. Arm's Reach Concepts, Inc. is dedicated to eliminating such potential dangers through the introduction of Co-Sleeper baby bassinets. Co-Sleeper baby bassinets allow parents to sleep next to their newborns, each one in a separate bed, yet within arm's reach of one another throughout the night. The creation of Co-Sleeper pet beds resulted from the same notion -- that pet owners can remain close to their pets while sleeping, without worrying about safety issues.

How did you get started?: In 1998, Douglas and Diana Tharalston decided to create a bassinet that allowed parents to sleep next to their babies at night, without the threat of accidentally hurting the newborns in bed. Thus, this husband and wife team created a practical solution to this problem through the developed the first Co-Sleeper baby bassinet.
